The Lights of Winter

Note from Sundara... I've been saving this inspiration photo for the holidays and I realized that if I didn't use it, like, now, it would be too late. And since I love me some high twist, not just because it's a fabulous, versatile yarn base, but because it takes color so beautifully, it seemed like the best choice for a snow covered, lit up tree out in the winter woods. It's like something the fairies decorated. And we all know I love the fairies.

This looks like your run of the mill teal yarn, but it's got a lot more going on that didn't get photographed. There are sky blues (from the lights on the snow), forest greens (from the trees), hints of something that might be a mix of maybe robin's egg and cobalt blue? I'm not even sure what to call it but it's in the photo and it's in the yarn. It's way more than just teal. It's all sorts of glowing goodness that will light up your winter wonderland.
