Lands of High

Note from Sundara... This color is amazing. And not just because these cows are adorable and I will take any opportunity I can to use Highland cows as inspiration (so cute). It's amazing because it is one of my favorite things in color: a colorful neutral. Everybody loves and needs a good neutral, but neutrals are boring. I like to make them not boring by making them colorful while still keeping them neutral. I know that sounds like an oxymoron, but I swear it is not. As proved by this skein of yarn.

It's got all sorts of colors that could be called pinks and purples and maybe wines. But they are subdued and combined with that neutral sandy color and they end up looking neutral. So you can turn this into whatever you want and then wear it with whatever you'd wear a sandy colored neutral with. And just like that, boring neutrals become exciting.
