Howling Like a Wolf

Note from Sundara... I'm pretty sure I've used this inspiration photo before, but I couldn't find when I'd used it or what I'd named the yarn. So "Howling Like a Wolf" it is. What's embarrassing was I THOUGHT I was naming it after the Duran Duran song but when I googled it, "HUNGRY Like a Wolf" came up which I totally should have remembered, given my 80s youth, but it was a bit of a morning, so oh well. Howling makes more sense anyway.

So let's talk about the yarn and the color. Well, maybe not so much the color. It's pretty straightforward. Gorgeous dark blue. You pretty much can't go wrong with that. But the yarn? I only dye this yarn base a couple times a year because there isn't a huge demand even though it is amazing. It is so soft and silky and smooth. It's probably the least scratchy yarn you could ever hope to find. And the sheen is stunning. It reflects the light so well you'd almost think it was 100% silk. It's outrageously amazing.

"Howling Like a Wolf" won't be dyed again. One batch available.

Aran Silky Alpaca is 181 yards and 100 grams of 70% baby alpaca & 30% mulberry silk.
4.5 stitches per inch on US 8/5mm needles.
Gently hand wash in tepid water for project longevity.
Orders for 2+ skeins will be matched as closely as possible.
