Note from Sundara...Admit it. You were not expecting a cat wearing sunglasses and a crown of flowers for today's inspiration photo. I certainly wasn't. But I kind of thought a cat in sunglasses and a crown of flowers was what we all needed for today's inspiration photo. Even if you don't like cats, that's still a pretty adorable kitty with a little bit of attitude.
The crown of flowers was the obvious choice for how to dye this yarn. Fluffy flowers with a bit of shine? Fluffy yarn with a bit of shine. Perfect! The fluffy bits are gorgeous––a deep red wine sangria with a hint of lilac streaked throughout. And add to that a little bit of shimmer running through it with the silk. It may not be a crown of flowers, but it's still really spectacular.
"Crown of Flowers" will not be dyed again. 1/2 a batch left.
