Across the Aegean

Note from Sundara... Last time I offered this yarn, I mentioned how, despite the heat, it was so soft it took all of my willpower not to wrap it around my neck. Even though it is even hotter, when I got this out to dye, I still wanted to wrap it around my neck. Nothing has changed. It's a great yarn to knit with in the summer because it is so lightweight, you don't notice the heat and you don't get hot and sticky working with it.

But what to knit with it? I actually wanted to offer today's three colors as a set, but a lot of you like to do all sorts of different things with this yarn base, so I held off to give you control over how much you could order.

If you do want to use them together, I have ideas! If you might want to consider something super crazy but ultimately amazing, how about some colorwork? Specifically the "Sunset Highway" sweater by Caitlin Hunter. Think of the fluffy silky alpaca color work set against something not fluffy like fingering merino or high twist in a coordinating or contrasting color? I'd go for something yellow or pink, but a green or blue in a lighter or brighter hue would also look incredible. 

Or, if you are not up for a sweater, which is completely understandable, the "Bousta Beanie" by Gudrun Johnston would look very sophisticated in fluff. Easy to knit now, cozy come winter.
