The Perfect Peace

Note from Sundara... There is a shawl, "Billow" knit out of DK silky merino that requires a set of 3 skeins with two colors and the third color is a mix of those two colors. It's a gorgeous shawl, and I've dyed up sets of yarn for it before. I've never dyed up a set in colors that I would wear, personally. But I really love the shawl and think it would be the perfect summer project.

Why? I like knitting silky merino in the summer. It's soft and silky and who doesn't love that? Don't tell anyone but I actually prefer the DK over the fingering because it is bouncy. The shawl is the perfect size to wrap about my neck come winter but also the perfect size to drag around with me and not feel hot on my lap. So I did some selfish dyeing and used one of my favorite roses as inspiration.

I know a lot of you like these colors, like this particular rose, and also like this particular pattern, so I dyed up a full batch instead of just a set for me. Hopefully I've convinced you why you might also want to knit yourself one as well.
