Island of Trees

Note from Sundara... I am always a sucker for an ethereal, misty photos, especially if there are trees involved. This would be a lovely view from a lake cabin. All warm and toasty in front of a fire with a cup of hot cocoa. Even better if marshmallows are involved.

But let's focus on the color. This is all sorts of greens and deep, dark blues. It's glorious. Haunting, yet pretty. If that can be a combination, this color manages it. I focused on the darker, richer colors of the island with the trees and left out the pale misty bits, although they are captured in the way the light glistens off the silk. Probably, it's even better than a warm fire and a cup of hot cocoa.
