Howl

Note from Sundara... I used this photo last month and that time I mentioned in the past how difficult it is to find good photos of teal. Which sucks, given that teal is enormously popular and also highly flattering to wear. So I saw this and leapt all over it. Plus, I loved that wolf. What I also realized recently is that some of the photos I use for these Daily Dreams (like this one) is that I love so much that I don't feel done with them after just one time. So I'm giving myself permission to use them again. Even using the same name because "howl" is a great name. I'd be crazy not to have another go at it, right? You can email me and complain if this bothers you, but hopefully not because, like this color, we are going to end up with some really pretty yarn.

Because this? Even better than the last version. It's got way more going on AND it's silk and cashmere with some merino for stability and reasonableness. It's shimmery and soft and gorgeous. And it's got a great name to go along with all the other goodness. So send me that email if the repeat bothers you. And if not, maybe treat yourself to some yarny goodness.

As for the teal, t's some how both blue-teal and green-teal at the same time. Depends on what light you are looking at it in. It's also got subtle grey-teal streaks throughout, which give it depth and dimension. And it is silky yak, which is right up there as one of the softest and warmest yarn bases. Yak is super warm. Have I mentioned that recently? I probably should. Yak is super warm. And this one shimmers with that hint of silk, so it is pretty much perfect.

This "Howl" will not be dyed again. But some other "Howl" might be. One batch available.
