The Drama of Tuscany

Note from Sundara...I spent way too much time the other day looking at photos of Tuscany. Because I have no plans to take a vacation this year and we've just come off a bout of snow, which means everything is so wet, so cold, and so muddy. So you can see why I might be dreaming of Tuscany. But what I found interesting was how many of the photos actually had this rather unique color combination.

Because it isn't what I think of when I think of Tuscany, but something about the way the hills and valleys of green reflect the warm sun as it rises and sets turns it into these delectable shades of citron highlighted with persimmons and apricots. It's really quite remarkable. I doubt I've ever dyed lace silky alpaca quite like this and it should knit up into something fascinating. Definitely warm and sunny and not wet and cold and muddy.
