Note from Sundara... I almost put a note in the subject line of today's email that said "new yarn base!" Because I think I've dyed this yarn one time. There isn't a huge demand for this weight in silky alpaca. I can see why. It's not the most practical yarn. But here's why you should get some. It's phenomenally soft. Like ridiculously soft. Perfect for hats or cowls, and at an aran weight, it will knit up fast. If you don't want it for yourself (you should), it's perfect for a gift. Get a skein and knit a hat or cowl for someone you feel compelled to knit for but maybe feel resentful about. It'll knit up quick, look and feel amazing, and the person will feel ultra special because it's so soft and pretty. (And you knit it! So special!) You can feel smug that you knit something spectacular for someone you maybe didn't want to knit for. It's win-win-win all around.

Aran Silky Alpaca is 181 yards and 100 grams of 70% baby alpaca & 30% mulberry silk.
4.5 stitches per inch on US 8/5mm needles.
Gently hand wash in tepid water for project longevity.
Orders for 2+ skeins will be matched as closely as possible.
