Note from Sundara... I felt like dyeing up something different than all my usual yarn bases and (I checked) I haven't dyed fingering polwarth since August of last year. Now, I will be perfectly honest. Polwarth is not your softest yarn. If you are one of those people who has skin like an elephant (tough, not wrinkly), then you should totally feel free to wrap this around your neck because it is a great yarn. For the rest of us, who don't like scratchy things, those of us who are more delicate butterflies (like me, sadly), it is still the perfect yarn for other things.

Polwarth is sturdier than merino, which means it will hold up better as socks than merino. So if you are looking something for your toesies, a skein will do you for a pair of these socks. I've also been told that Polwarth is great for weaving, for my weaving friends out there. Or! Maybe you could take up a new hobby this summer and get yourself a loom? Get a skein or two and think about it.

"Cocoa Cliffs" will not be dyed again.

Fingering Polwarth is 437 yards and 100 grams of 100% super wash New Zealand Polwarth.
7 stitches per inch on US 3/3.25mm needles.
Gently hand wash in tepid water for project longevity.
Orders for 2+ skeins will be matched as closely as possible.
